Fleetric: Building and Launching a Fleet Platform for the Gulf
The Challenge
Gulf fleet operators run their businesses across disconnected tools: GPS tracking in one system, maintenance on spreadsheets, invoicing somewhere else, and no view of which vehicles actually make money. Layered on top is a compliance stack unique to the region — WASL and Asateel telematics mandates, RTA/SIRA requirements, and Saudi Arabia's ZATCA e-invoicing (Fatoora) regime — that generic international fleet software wasn't built for. WayaNerd Ltd set out to build the product the market was missing: one platform, Gulf-first.
The Solution
Fleetric (fleetric.io) — the complete fleet platform built for the Gulf: vehicle tracking using the phones drivers already carry, maintenance management, ZATCA-ready invoicing and per-vehicle P&L, with the GCC compliance stack (WASL, Asateel, RTA/SIRA) designed in rather than bolted on. The AI follows WayaNerd's production philosophy — AI drafts the entry, a person confirms it — the same governed, human-in-the-loop pattern we implement for clients. Fleetric launched in 2026 and runs in daily production with a UAE construction fleet. It's WayaNerd's proof that we ship and operate production software in the GCC — the same end-to-end capability (scoping, build, compliance, launch, operations) available to custom-development clients.
